General CommentsRoss Blair-Holt is the nominee for these premises who is noted in other VGCR returns as the Chief Operating Officer of nearly all Woolworths' associated companies.

Westend Market Hotel Pty. Ltd. Search of the records of the VGCR does not disclose interests associated with Woolworths although it does disclose association with Mr. Blair-Holt and Bruce Mathieson, the joint venture associate of Woolworths in
ALH and other entities.
This venue has been included in PokeyWatch.org because of this association.
Mr. Mathieson is also mentioned in the
statement of Mr. Luscombe.

The bottom of the road sign with its overly large promotion of "Pokies" has been blacked out. It is possible that this sign did not comply with legal advertising requirements.
10 November 2009 Inspection Notes:Regulation 17 player information talker signs26 of the pokies had the sign affixed to the top box. #73 had no sign at all.
