General Comments
Separate bistro entrance sign on car park entrance as this entrance leads only into the gaming area.
Signs were erected promoting that $37,456 had been won in jackpots, "Let's Deal" board with $500 written on it, Morning Teas, Rapid Fire, Free Bingo, Canadian Club and Penfolds.
After taking photo of back entrance, I was asked what I was doing by a staff member. In conversation she stated that people came by to check that they were keeping up responsible gaming standards.
The Shire of Mornington Peninsula has published a Responsible Gaming Strategy that "aims to assist Council to make informed decisions regarding offers of sponsorship or donations from Gaming Venue Operators and Gaming Licensees (Tabcorp and Tattersalls) and that avoids perceived Council dependency on revenue from Gaming."You can download the Shire's Strategy document here.
