I have always found this venue to be very proactive against problem gamblers. The fact that this venue is a Club actually means the staff know its members really well.

This area is basically a lower income area, many of the patrons are lower income and quite a few are in the lower intelligence bracket, thats not being disrespectful, its just a fact.
Staff at this venue go out of there way to patronise these types and it is done in a way that encourages more and more to come back.
Comments like you have done well and I cant win on this machine, you must have the gift are common, anything to keep people in the venue, and it is hardly an area that can afford losses of 5 million dollars a year on the machines, also St Vinnies and the Salvos are forever trying to feed those encouraged to lose at this venue.
They say only 2% of the population are addicted to pokies, based on statistics that is half a million people, and yet they say 'Only'
And the governments reap in all the financial rewards yet hypocritically put up ads on the TV and Radio telling people not to lose their money.
Like smoking, they really dont ant people to give them up, its all window dressing because of all that money that keeps flowing in.
