General CommentsThe 8 April inspection was carried out around 10:15AM. A staff member was observed handing out tickets to gamblers playing the pokies while sitting at the pokies. The staff member was heard to say "You must be playing to get a ticket". There was a large promotional set up in the gaming room called "Key to Cash". There were rules posted on the wall to the bistro area. They were set too high and in too small of type to be read easily. ALH was mentioned. The staff member repeatedly called out how long the promotion was to last e.g. "7 minutes left". If a gambler stayed longer at their pokie would they get more tickets?
