On the Sportsclub web page there was a statement of entry policy reproduced below:
Minerdome Sports Club Venue Entry Policy The Association has a firm policy that our venue has three distinct entrances that are designed to serve separate membership groups. The Association does not wish to have juniors (person’s U/18 years of age) either alone or in the company of adults using the licensed club entrances as a short cut to the basketball court area. The reason for the distinct separation of the entrances to opposite ends of the venue is to ensure that our junior members are not required to be exposed to our licensed club facilities except for the purposes of dining or for team functions in which the juniors are involved. The basketball or court entrance is via the Dowling St carpark or the walkway alongside the venue from the corner carpark to the basketball entrance. The bistro and first floor Sovereign Room facilities are accessed from the main entrance to the Sports Club off the Grevillea Rd carpark. This entrance is only open when the licensed club first floor area is open for business. The TAB and Tabaret can be accessed from one of three entrances off Grevillea Rd.
Photographs of the car park entrance sign are included on this web page. While the wording appears to reflect this policy, it is open to argument whether having regard to the size and volume of text, is effective implementation. Given the state of the web page, this policy may no longer be in place.
