Pokie #54 was missing a sign. Pokie #70 had the sign fixed to the top box. 12 signs intersected with the top part of the animated reels. The remainder were placed too high so as not to be visible from video play face.

Yes. There is a 1.5 metre wall that divides the pokies from the bistro and then a clear glass wall with large openings (no doors) at either end. This arrangement allows for both visual and audible presence for bistro diners to the pokies.

Kids Area
Yes. Particularly visible from the Kid's area entrance is a Big Red poster which depicts a cartoon like kangaroo that is used in the pokie itself.

Yes. Behind cashier.

Posters in pokie room
Welcome and Coke promotion posters are in lit boxes in entrance. There is another Coke promotion. All other lit posters promote more gambling. The poster for the Money Chimes pokie uses the line "You Can Feel It".

General Comments
The glass wall in the entrance way is inscribed with the statement "Fun Is The Name Of The Game". This wall divides the entrance area and the kids play area from the pokies room.The venue has a P.A. as a telephone call was announced.

Regulation 17 talker signs
Pokies #49, #19, and #9 were missing a signs. 2 pokies had the sign fixed to the top box. Overwhelmingly, the bottom edge of the signs were placed against the credit line. A few were placed against the animated reels.

Eating in Gaming Room

Yes. Snack menu posted on wall.

Visibility from Bistro Area
Yes. Open entrances on either side of the partitions. KENO screen located in the eating area.

Kids Area
Can see pokie lights through the clear glass walls of the play area. Poster promoting Friday Night face painting from 6:30. "A Winner Every Time" game is located in the play area.

Gambler's Help notice/cards in toilets
2 posters. Cards present in a holder. Strongbow poster. Nothing in eating area toilet.

Posters in pokie room
9 posters devoted to promoting gambling were tallied. Uses Tabaret 'You Can Feel It" reserved signs. Huey free standing display when entering the lounge area that is between the pokies and eating areas.

General CommentsKeysborough - Game in child area
On a post in the middle of the pokie room was a statement of rules of play. The last rule prohibited simultaneous play of two pokies.
