General Comments.
In 2006 the gaming room was awarded by the AHA for its gaming room. The AHA stated:
"The Hampstead Hotel’s gaming room is one of the most modern facilities of its type in metropolitan Adelaide. From its machines to its décor, it is setting the pace as far as discerning gaming customers are concerned. And being a part of the Fahey group of hotels, compliance with the responsible gambling codes is a high priority."
This venue uses electronic member cards. There is a Gold Rush branding. They provide a terminal to swipe upon entry into the pokies room. There is also a terminal on each pokie which presumably measures the member/gambler's play for rewards.
