Bistro (and childrens play area) near pokies room....door into pokies room has 2 x glass panels allowing children at the salad bar to see right into the pokies room.

Kid's Play Area and promotion
Children's play area containing teddies, soft toys and 6 computer screens with various sega/playstation-type games on them. Glass wall separates the area from the bistro proper....ice-cream fridge located immediately outside the pokies room - right next to the door with glass panels. Sounds of pokies audible to anyone selecting an ice cream. Coin operated vending machine (chocolate factory) on wall outside - and adjacent to - children's play area. Again, this is located in an area that enables children to see/hear the sights of sounds of pokies. .

General Comments.
General Impression...yuppieville....two dining areas - one formal and one bistro area...pokies area quite pokie (no pun intended)...machines close together. Formal dining area not near pokies room....sights and sounds of pokies do not infringe on diners enjoyment of their meal/company.

If entering the venue from the Esplande, people will walk directly towards the pokie room with a neon sign "Pokies" above the entrance.
There are two eating areas.
As one enters the venue there is the eating area that houses the kids play area. This is the same room accessed through the car park.Pokiepark. Eating here is from a serve yourself buffet. There are KENO monitors in the buffet eating area. There is a large Gaming Room sign above the glass doors of the pokie room.
The other area is integrated with a bar and is accessed through an entrance in Jetty Road. Pokie room has open entranceway to the bar of the mainJetty bistroRd eating area. This eating area is a restaurant. This eating area is located down a short but open stairway from the pokie room which shields the sights and sounds of the pokie room until a customers ascends the stairway to a bar area. This bar area is open to the pokies area. There is a KENO monitor in this area. The transitional space between the bar and the pokies room is used for KENO and Lotteries.

Kid's Play Area and promotion
Located 16 paces from the pokie room door. Can look into pokie room from play area. Chocolate Factory coin operated game. IceNoorgen Vaas ice cream bar is located next to pokie room entrance.

General Comments.
Over 18 warning on the Esplanade entrance. It is possible to walk through the venue if one enters from Jetty Road all the way to the pokie room without any sign about restricted entry to minors.
