Eating in Gaming RoomSnack menu promoted by freestanding menu on bar.
Coffee / Tea service in Gaming RoomYes.
Visibility from Bistro AreaThe design of the bistro area is such that the gaming room is totally visible and audible. It is effectively the same room. There are but a number of wooden slats highlighting rather than impairing visibility between the two rooms. The bistro area is also open to the TAB. There are no visiual dividers. In this way, the children observed eating were bombarded with noise and vision from both these gambling activities.A KENO screen was affixed in the bistro area.
External ClocksYes. Behind cashier.
Posters in Gaming Room that promote non-gambling activities available in the venue? All promote gaming except for the Sentanta sports. Wild cash jackpot was $4,500 - $5,000. Venue uses Tabcorp "You Can Feel It" reserved signs.
General CommentsThis venue is nicely decorated that houses an agressive layout i.e. encouraging people to gamble. The strategy of the layout seems similiar to the recently renovated
Court House Hotel in Footscray.
